Maruti Ritz is the Indian version of the Suzuki Splash. The Maruti Ritz has an array of safety features. The Maruti Ritz comes with 1.2 litre K12 petrol engine and 1.3 litre diesel engine, both with optimum fuel efficiency. The petrol version has maximum power output of 85bhp and torque of 113Nm, while the diesel unit has 75bhp and 190Nm of torque.
Maruti Ritz initially came with a petrol engine but now it comes with a diesel engine and there is also an automatic variant too.
Exterior
The Ritz is small hatch back but it does come with modern style and exterior look. The front bumper and grille look sporty and the wheel arches also add aggressive stance to the car.
Interior
The dashboard and instrument panel are modern and of good design. The seats are also comfortable and there is lots of space in the front and the rear. There is lots of space for headroom but less legroom in the rear.
Engine
The petrol engine features 1.2 litre 4 cylinder K12B engine with power output of 85bhp and 113 Nm of torque. The diesel variant has 1.3 litre Multijet diesel engine with 75bhp and 190Nm of torque. Both the petrol and the diesel engine has 5-speed manual transmission. The petrol variant also comes with 4-speed automatic CVT transmission.
The acceleration of car is mainly dependent on the power, torque and transmission gearbox of the car. The pickup and acceleration of a car is very essential. Maruti Ritz crosses the barrier of 100 Kms in just 14.71 seconds and reaches top speed of 156kmph.
Fuel Efficiency
The petrol variant has fuel economy of almost 15kmpl and the diesel variant gives 19kmpl.
Convince Feature
The Maruti Ritz has power steering with tilt adjustment, power windows and air-conditioning with automatic climate control. It also comes with integrated music player. Ritz has McPherson struts and coil spring at the front for suspension.
Safety Feature
Maruti Ritz has Dual front SRS Airbag in the car. This dual SRS Airbag is important safeguard which helps in providing a cushioning effect in collision and jerk and also reducing the impact of collision. The Ritz also comes with ABS with EBD, Brake Assist and rear defogger.

Review : The car is light and compact and handles brilliantly on Indian roads. Maruti Ritz is easy to drive in traffic. Steering feedback is good though and it is light but direct.
